RESTORATIVE CONFERENCES

Central to every Restorative Conference is the practice of collectively making agreements, with the emphasis on supporting the needs of all parties. This is what allows for a safe and successful dialogue.
The Restorative Conference, which is at the core of restorative practices, is a structured and facilitated dialogue intended to provide the opportunity for the one who caused the harm as well as impacted parties/stake holders to safely address and resolve the harms caused during a specific incident.

All voices are heard in the process, and a Restorative Action Plan is collectively created which is meant to repair the harms caused and prevent future harms. Those present, including the one who offended, agree to hold the that person accountable for finishing the plan.
